About Me.

Who am I behind the makeup brush? So happy you asked! Well I am married to my very favorite person, Chase, & I am a mama to 3 precious children! I grew up in central Alabama & graduated from HTHS in '07 with an honors in Art. I went on to college at Watkins College of Art & Design in Nashville, TN. That is where I picked up my 1st makeup brush. I loved helping on music video sets & make up was just a 'fun thing' I did. Never in my mind did I think I could make a living off of something I enjoyed doing. In '09 I was asked to do bridal makeup for a friends wedding. I immediately said yes! That wedding led to two or three more bookings - before I knew it weddings were something I was regularly booking. I loved being a part of someones most special day so much!

I worked as a make up artist with Sephora in the 2010's where I stayed glued to the 'beauty counter'. Every day I had multiple appointments with women from pre teen to in their 40's & 50's. I learned skin textures, tones, every day makeup to event makeup. Sephora is where I gained the MOST training, most experience & still I have some of the best friends from this brand. I had amazingly talented artists from NY, CA & Miami teaching me to be faster, more precise & to truly listen to a client & meet their needs. I was taught how to hold a brush, how to apply product on the skin & how different ingredients have different effects. SO MUCH TRAINING. So many tests, some tears & finally I was a certified working make up artist. The better I became as an artist the more private bookings I had. From Sephora I moved to BECCA. From BECCA I was snatched up by CHANEL. Chanel also whipped me into shape as I was working with a clientele that was more mature. I have been around the makeup training world & I feel, with an abundance of confidence, that I am fully prepared to care for each client that sits in my chair. Ya girl knows what she's doing!
